DR GEMMA MUNRO
Dr Gemma Munro is the Founder and Director of Inkling Women, one of the world’s leading training and development organisations for women. She has inspired over ten thousand women worldwide to create extraordinary lives and careers. An award-winning leader and speaker, Gem has spoken at Google HQ in Silicon Valley, across PayPal Asia, at Nissan HQ in Melbourne, and at Royal Albert Hall in London.
Gem is one of Australia’s most sought-after writers on the topics of gender diversity and women’s leadership. With a PhD in performance psychology, she specialises in helping women to move past limiting beliefs and negative self-talk so that they can step up, speak up and lead. Her driving belief? That the world will be a better place when 50% of the most important decisions for the planet are made by women.
Outside of work, Gem has two school-aged muppets and likes to bake, sing, and drink wine (all at once, wherever possible). Her biggest claim to fame: she has performed live on stage as a backing singer for the Rolling Stones. A classically trained singer, she’s also performed in places like Westminster Abbey – but given Taz hates classical music, we usually forget to mention that bit.
